Problem

I know what's the problem now about the entrepreneurship and the trainer thing. I look around me, the successful trainers at young age; eg 27. They are successful at whatever they are doing. And many people are going towards that line of work. Soon, this idea of wealth training will go dry as the supply of it increases. Just look at the newspaper, there is so much of it. Real estate, silver and gold, forex and all sorts of financial instruments.

And many trainers now are quoting Robert Kiyosaki.

I don't want to be just a regular trainer.
I want to be exposed to the more complex market, the derivatives market.
Where you can have access and the ability to create a new kind of instrument and expose it to the current market.
I want to be an innovator.
Not following anyone's footsteps.
I do not want to manage millionaires' money.
I want to manage institutions' money.
Personal financial management is not for me.
Too many people are doing it.
I dare to dream higher, so there I will be.

ESTP

I want to write about the type I understand second most but I am too excited with my new findings. It's about the type I find extremely difficult to read before this. No doubt I can spot an ESTP if I see one, but I used to not be able to tell what are they thinking about what they want. Now I have an ESTP so close to me that I can observe. It's like...wonderful.

Problems with reading ESTP I know previously it's because somehow ESTP guys love to flirt so basically they aren't being their real self and ESTP girls tend to be very cautious around me. Once they sense no danger towards me, they will let down their guard. I was fortunate to have a 16 year old ESTP and it's best to observe someone raw. Because people change according to their experiences and the younger the person being observed, the better the interpretations.

Alright. Let me start with how to spot an ESTP:

With their physical characteristics:

1) Eyes. Usually small with small eyelids.
2) Thick eyebrows.
3) Sides of the nose is fleshy. Fleshy earlobes.
4) Heavy Chin.

I wish to show you some pictures of my ESTP friends but I figured out it's not so nice revealing people. Some types do not like to be revealed. This type is one of them.

On general evaluation, they are considered the alphas. They are usually on top. They are quick-witted, usually very good at calculations, adventerous, can be very charming and also very impulsive.

They are usually non-emotional or clingy and they valued friendship greatly. They can be made into good friends because usually they do not hold grudges. They have little patience for emotionally needy or fake people.

If they have the first impression of you being intimidating, they will tend to be very cautious or sometimes a snob in front of you. Once the barrier is broken, they can be great friends. It took three years for me to break a barrier with a female ESTP. She is extremely a good friend to me now. I had to show that I was vulnerable in order for her to let her guards down.

ESTP males tend to behave oddly in front of me. They think of females as females and they are extremely flirty. They have the tendency to flirt a lot. Think James Bond. He is an ESTP. Once being hurt, they will resort to becoming a player and not believing in love & relationships for a very long time.

The reason why I find it hard to read an ESTP because they build walls with people. They refused to tell you what they think or how they feel, because they do not want people to know. As alphas, they do not like outsiders or enemies to know their weaknesses. Another reason is that they change their mind so frequent. Their minds change from time to time. They are rarely consistent. Besides that, as Thinkers, sometimes they do not tell people their problems unless people can really help with it.

Their strengths usually lie in being charming, extremely good at making decisions based on cost-benefit analysis, adventerous, the leadership type and have a very sharp mind.

Their weaknesses lies in their love and relationships, their love for risks and also their big mouth. Adventure-seeking ESTPs will find it hard to stay in monogamous relationships. They will tend to jump from one relationship to another, seeking love or someone to really understand them. They tend to get distracted easily by attractive looking people. Or either that, they have to tendency to stick to a partner who will abuse them.

They also enjoy taking risks. It's part of their lives. You can expect extreme slopes living with an ESTP. With the highs and lows. They enjoy businesses and they dare to think and dream big. Because of their intelligence which is above the average, they tend to get ahead faster and better than others.

However, their weakness which is being too overconfident without being hands-on on a certain project and taking too much risks plus high leverage which will lead them to failures. Relationships will also tend to screw their careers. For example, Tiger Woods whom was reported to be a sex addict and cheating on his wife had lost few contracts. Donald Trump was married for three times. Although he was a real estate mogul, he was highly in debt.

Immature ESTPs will get into trouble by talking too much or being overconfident. Donald Trump got slammed by Obama recently. Donald Trump was saying that Obama was not fit to be a president and indirectly hinted that people should vote for Trump to be President. While Donald was busy questioning about Obama's birth certificate and all, Obama has already planned to kill the world's most wanted so-called criminal; Osama.

Watch this on how Obama took down Trump.

Moral of the story; don't talk too much or pick fights with someone who is stronger and has more power than you although you may seem intelligent and capable. Never underestimate your opponent too.

The kind of mates ESTP are attracted to are usually ; ISFJ, ISTJ and INFP.
ESTP guys like demure girls but not too clingy. Whatever is it, one of the most important factor is good looking and straightforwardness.
ESTP females may prefer smarter guys but because they are smarter than average girls and guys, finding a match may be really tough.

Deep inside the ESTP:
  1. More often anot, despite their high intelligence, they are always confused about their existence.
  2. They want to enjoy life, jumping from one relationship to another, changing careers, travel place to place. They are always looking for something new, hoping to find that special something, or a feeling.
  3. Around the people they respect, they tend to be more quiet. They have low patience for stupid, clingy people and stoners.
  4. They are very good with directions.
  5. Although they are Perceivers, they tend to be very neat.
  6. Their ideal partner is someone stable, a follower, someone who listens to them when they rant and able to make decisions without being too excited about possibilities or spoilt by choices. Someone open to their ideas of fun.
  7. Partners of ESTP can expect alot of adventure and fun in the relationship. ESTPs are also very generous in buying gifts for their mates.
  8. ESTPs are very brand conscious. They enjoy luxury goods especially clothings or gadgets.
How to communicate with an ESTP:
  1. Listen to them. Laugh at their jokes.
  2. Respect them.
  3. Join them for fun. They are very spontaneous.
  4. Don't be too serious or too blur.
  5. Be honest and sincere. They can spot fakeness and shoot you down with it.
Example of Famous ESTPs:
  1. Lady Gaga
  2. Madonna
  3. Donald Trump
  4. Tiger Woods
  5. Bruce Wayne (Batman)
  6. James Bond
  7. Jackie Chan
  8. Eddie Murphy
  9. Kimora

It's not easy to become a hedge fund manager - you need passion and instinct

Hedge fund managers – hedgies for short – hit the news last week when new standards were announced for an industry that rakes in vast sums but operates in a shroud of secrecy. But just what do they do and is it something that anyone can get into?

The answer is, yes – and rich rewards lie in wait. One hedgie, John Paulson, recently bagged himself £1bn for a year's work. But getting into this fiercely competitive market takes brains, dedication, and above all, passion.

"The hedge fund manager is the person responsible for physically managing the monies, and it isn't the type of role that you can pick up straight from university," says Peter Elliott, director of Emerson Chase City, a recruitment firm specialising in hedge funds. "A fund management position is nigh on the pinnacle of the industry."

Sarah Butcher, editor of eFinancialCareers.com agrees. "You can't just be someone off the street and set up a hedge fund," she says. "Investors want to put their money with someone who has a track record."

This is because the investors are entrusting large amounts of cash to hedgies who promise an "absolute return" – profits regardless of whether markets rise or fall. They do this by using various investment tactics, one of which involves literally hedging their bets on two different commodities.

It's a job that relies on being one step ahead, so you need to be bright. A 2:1 or a First from one of the better universities – usually in something relevant such as maths, science or even engineering – will get you over the first hurdle. "An MSc would help," adds Butcher, "or advanced maths. A maths-related PhD can also be beneficial."

Firms are reluctant to reveal any information that might give a competitor the edge, so the second hurdle is just hunting out these companies. "It's difficult to find out exactly what funds are out there as many don't even have a full website," says Elliott. Most hedge fund websites just have a holding page, displaying the most basic company information. Beyond that, it's members only. The way to get around this is to register with one of the industry websites, such as Hedge Week, Hedge Fund Review or Hedge Fund Intelligence.

The London School of Economics students' union recently ran its second annual alternative investments conference, with over 30 prominent firms represented, which proves that there is some information available to graduates.

Otherwise, just get yourself down to the City. "A lot of them have been traders in investment banks," says Butcher. "Many have worked on the proprietary trading desks – trading using the banks own money. If you've worked there and have a strong track record, you can go in that way."

Professional qualifications can help too. A good way in is to become a market analyst, and according to Andrew Lodge, managing director of Nedgroup Investments, which works with and funds hedgies, the Chartered Financial Analyst qualification is becoming an industry standard.

But there's more to it than just impeccable academics. "If it were just pure maths we'd get a computer to do it," says Lodge.

Indeed, as a hedgie you must be furiously competitive, and have nerves of steel. After all, you're dealing with unimaginable sums of money belonging to powerful investors. You need to be confident in your own abilities. You must also have a feel for the markets – insiders say some can just "smell it": they can read the markets and pick a winner like a seasoned gambler betting on a horse.

But the most important thing, says Butcher, is credibility. "After all, you've got to get people to give their money to you," she says.

In return you must give of yourself. Stories of 100-hour weeks are common. But, says Lodge, that's not the whole picture. "[Hedgies] have a passion for what they do and some do work long hours. But they're not chained to the desk. We like our managers to have a social life and social skills, because it's healthy."

It's a career that has its rewards. It allows a greater level of individuality than other areas of the City. As hedge funds are generally smaller than investment banks, it gives hedgies greater intimacy and control. "There's nowhere to hide; you're not just a number," says Elliott, "which means, if you're doing well, you get noticed quickly. But also if you're not doing well, that's like a beacon."

So, do you want to be a City-type in an immaculately tailored suit with a flashy car? Then, I'm afraid you're exactly the person that won't make it as a hedge-fund manager.

"I'm not saying that these guys don't enjoy all the benefits," says Lodge, "but the real buzz is how they make their money. They trade on small imperfections in the market and that little bit of expert knowledge. That's what turns these guys on."

Tips for becoming a hedgie

* You need a good degree, preferably in a numerate subject. An MSc could also help as could a CFA (chartered financial analyst) qualification.

* Show an interest in the stock market by trading your own stocks

* Get yourself a job in the City to sharpen your teeth as a trader, analyst or by trading with the banks' own money.

* Be successful, passionate and incredibly driven – but try to find room for a private life too

* Be reliable and trustworthy

* Keep your eye on the websites Hedge Week, Hedge Funds Review or Hedge Fund Intelligence.
