ENFP

I always wanted to write about personality types and my encounter with them in real life. What are they really like in reality besides the theories I've read online. And which type should I start off first? Of course the type I understand the most! My type!

ENFP.

Extroverted- Expressive. Outgoing. Enjoys being in company of people.
iNtuition- Thinks alot about the past and the future.
Feeling- Make decisions based on feelings; on what they feel is right and according to values.
Perceiving- Delay decision making. Opportunist.

Their strengths and weaknesses can be found on the internet if you google "ENFP Strengths" but I'll just summarize their general characteristics :

> They are always happy. You can often find them smiling. They are highly optimistic too.

>They are creative as well. Can draw quite well. Ideas seem natural to them. They always seem to have alot of ideas.

>They love life. They are constantly excited about something. Whether it's a good or bad thing. Their mind tend to generate a lot of possibilities of an event.

>As a child, they tend to get along well with most of their peers. They are also bright; being able to understand a particular lesson quickly.

>They are fast learners. They like to learn everything and anything. This explains the various talents and capabilities they have. However, they have the tendency to get bored very fast.

>They are known as "Journalists". They love to experience different things in life and love to ask various questions about people. There is this quote which fits them well. "A three year old ask about three hundred questions a day, an adult asks about an average of ninety questions. Well, I guess I am still a three-year old then.

>They love jobs that associate with people. Teaching. Consultation. They also love writing and performing too.

Here are their weaknesses:

>They tend to get distracted rather easily. There is a need to isolate themselves sometimes.

>Sometimes, they can appear to be gullible. Easily trust people.

>Whenever bad things happen, they tend to put the blame on themselves, especially in relationships.

>They are very sensitive to criticism. Although on the outside, they seem or said that they are okay with it, they actually aren't. ENFPs need to realize that criticisms do not mean the end of the world; but rather a means of improving oneself.

>Sometimes, they take crazy risks in life for the sake of the thrill.

>They are usually unorganized and messy. They may find house chores mundane and boring although they may still do it out of responsibility. They dislike routine and repetitive tasks.

>They may start a project immediately but find it hard to complete it. They will tend to get excited by a new project.

The kind of jobs they will be attracted to:

>Journalist
>Actor
>Teacher
>Entrepreneur
>Psychologist
>Television Reporter
>Politician / Diplomat
>Consultant

Relationship wise:

A kind of partner that would for anything for the mate. They are often supportive of their partners. Their natural skill of identifying what a person likes and dislikes. Sensitive to their partner's needs. Have a lot of creative ideas for dates and so on.

They are usually loyal and dedicated. They may have the tendency to get bored but will stay in the relationship because their values. They highly idealize their partners; always believing the current one is the best they ever have.

However, if they are not happy or "bored", they will jump from one relationship to another. It is not difficult for an Enfp to bounce back as they are always excited by new possibilities.

Enfps believe in fairytales. They dreamt of everlasting beautiful love all the time. They can be romantic too.

Enfps often mistaken that a kind of partner they need is a romantic and sensitive one. However, when they got such partner, it will turn them off because of the fakeness, insincerity and shallowness.

The kind of partner that Enfp would be suitable for is the smart, strong and not a clingy type.
Enfps love sharing ideas, discussing various topics. They enjoyed the company of other NTs, NFs and SPs.

NTs would be more suitable for eNFp because they are usually smart and non-controlling. They give the freedom that Enfp needs and intellectual stimulation. With NTs' intelligence, it would be enough for the eNFp to stay in the relationship as NTs are types that always questions life and find ways to improve on it. Example of NTs would be eNTj, eNTp,iNTj,iNTp.

Enfp needs someone to tell them that they are wrong. They also need someone who is more responsible and organized than them. Someone that gives them a lot of space and not needing them to always be by their side. Someone who is open to new ideas.

Sensors may not be suitable for the Enfp as Enfp speculates and love to explore life a lot with various theories and possibilities. Sensors are more practical people. NTs can make dreams of Enfp to come true by being able to see what an Enfp is seeing.

Okay, before I bore you with the excessive details of what's suitable and what's not. Here's how to identify an Enfp; Always happy. Optimistic. Enjoy helping others. Ask a lot of questions. Encouraging. Deep.

Do you believe that similar types have the similar look?
There is the tall and short Enfp. I'll show you the tall one first.

Sandra Bullock.

Yap Jia Yee

Gwen Stefani

Sasirekha

I am not sure if you can see the resemblance in the facial features. But they have crafty eyes and sharper features than the shorter Enfp.Now let me show you the shorter Enfp look. Well, I obviously fall into this category. =/

That's if I would be look like a Caucasian.
If I were to look like a Korean;

Observe the eyes. The space between the eyes. The wide forehead. The cheeks that seem flawless and full. Jawline not that significant. In contrary to the taller Enfp, shorter Enfps have rounder, wide eyes. Let me show you the last picture of an Enfp whom is a friend of mine.

Her name is Bibi and she is gorgeous.

If you have seen me in reality and have my msn, you would see the resemblance of my eyes, forehead and the cheeks.
I find this findings fascinating.
And thank you my friends who allowed me to use their pictures. :)

Bangkok

This was my first trip overseas!! And my first time on the plane. I was so so excited for the trip which was booked last year September. It was an impulse random decision because I felt as if I need to go out more. I went for this trip with Chu, Maho and KC. Really cute names they have there.

When I got on the plane, it felt like I was in a bus but with 3 seats on each sides. The air-stewardess looked like transexuals. (They are Malaysian though) Maybe it's the heavy make-up and sharp features. Didn't have enough space to stretch my legs. The seat design is ridiculous. I can't sleep when the top of the seat is arched upwards.

Anyway, I was still excited because it was taking off. The pressure on my ears made me felt as if they were bleeding until Chu taught me a way to get rid of the pain. As I flew, I saw fluffy clouds. Sort of expecting Katy Perry laying naked on them.

We reached the airport in Thailand in about an hour plus later. Oh, and there is two things I learnt while I was in Bangkok! Bargaining skills and currency exchange (how to gain/prevent loss by trading currency in different counters)!!

We were also impressed by the taxi drivers whom lined up to get their customers. Does this happen in Malaysia?
Bangkok is a shopping heaven. The clothes there are 50% cheaper compared to Malaysia. And the pricing for most of item ranged around 100baht to 250 baht.

The customer service by the Thais are excellent...I mean wonderful. They are so friendly. Only a pinchful of them aren't really so. I bought a tailor made pants from there and they sent it to my hotel. I called them at night and told them that it was a little too large; they sent someone to the hotel to measure and alter the pants. And they sent it back on the night itself. I don't think it's possible to get such good customer service in Malaysia unless the product is RM600 above? (The pants I bought was RM100 though, after bargaining from RM150)

But the drivers were merciless. Crazy drivers. Traffic conditions just as bad as Malaysia and they have many pink taxis!!

The food was decent, not great. Malaysian was better. I can even bargain for them! Anyway here are some pictures, I forgotten some of the names though.

Tomyam kung

Vege..haha

Mango rice

Grilled fish

Mcd's Brocolli Pie

Pork Burger

We paid the tourguide 500 baht for 4 persons to take us to the temples and we had to pay another 40 baht and 50 baht each for two of the temples shown below.

The buddha with weights 15 tonnes of real gold. (behind)

Sleeping Buddha

And then we saw people playing Congkak. No lah, it's not congkak, you're suppose to purchase a bowl of coins then put the coins into each bowl. For blessings and luck I suppose?

Oh, and I met a hottie there!

The perfect couple height, Chu?

On the next day, we went to the floating market.

While we thought that she was actually giving us a "peace" sign for us to take picture, she actually meant 20 baht for her fruits.

KC with Madame Paew...whom claimed she is the owner of the floating market

We went to the wood carving factory after that...

And into the shops...

3 of us..

Maho smiling as the chair hold her ass..

Mani and Pedi for only 200 baht!

Elephant wearing undies...

And at night, Chu, KC and Maho met some celebrity... I was sleeping at the hotel that time...

We went home on the following day. I shall end this post with a picture of us with our sweet tourguide, Nancy whom can't wake up early.. :P

Time to Change

It has been some time since we lived. With the same habits. It's time to change. For the better. Here's a list on what to do; it's a suggestion but it'll make a good start:

1) Eat a fruit a day

You'll start to notice the difference on your skin. Your excretion process gets easier. You will tend to smell better too. (I am not kidding you, you are what you eat; if you eat plants; you will smell like plants. If you eat meat; you'll smell like corpse.)

2) Sleep early, wake up early

Why stay up so late and have oil all over your face? Don't you feel your skin starts to get oily after 12-2pm? Wrinkles will tend to form too. People who sleep late will tend to have saggy skin and look much older. More prone to blackheads too. Waking up early is good. I like the smell of morning than in the afternoon.

3) See yourself as a company

Have a personal account updated frequently on an excel sheet to trace your cashflows. Create a budgeted account and an actual account to track the variances (differences between the figures). Target 20% of your allowances/earnings as savings (I put 40% though) and invest in assets. Assets are things that can generate you money. If buying that particular stuff can make you/assist you in making more money, then it's call an asset. If buying that stuff only makes you spend more than you usually do, it's call liability. If buying the stuff that only depreciates in value and fades after trend, that's urm....a bad investment? Identify your resources. Eg, time. Think like a finance manager. Think about opportunity cost. Rather than to spend the holidays sleeping, watching shows and stalking on facebook, could the time be used to learn something new, to improve a skill or to work?

4) Brush up on your financial knowledge

Everyone tells us that we shall go to school and get a good job so we can afford to buy the stuff we love. So when we graduate and start working, we would be thinking of buying a car or a house. Well of course, people take a loan with the car or the house. But erm, the banker doesn't look at your academic papers to qualify you for the loan but rather your bank statements and credit records which shows your financial intelligence. So I guess it would help alot if you know what you'll be doing.

5) Stop following trends

Technologies have certain lifespan. So do fashion. You save and starve yourself for months for that certain item you desire so much. Then later, you buy what you desire. Less than a year later, it goes out of fashion and trend. Then you save up again. And so the process repeats. That's what happens when you're eager to catch up and not feel left out.

Let me put it in this way.
"Give RM1million to a fool, he will be poorer. Give RM1million to a smart man, he will be richer."

A fool would use the RM1mil to buy an inexpensive car or house which needs alot of maintenance costs. The smart one will buy assets, properties or invest in businesses.

Years passed. The fool end up using the money and could not be able to sustain both the car and house.

6) Exercise
Let's build some muscles and wrestle some goats.

7) Talk to old people

Listen to them. But don't agree everything. Just listen and nod. Smile. Don't bother about showing off. Just listen.

8) Stop chasing love

Do you believe in fairytales? Like "The One"? After all the shits you've been through, finally you can meet someone who is really meant for you. Let love come naturally, don't bother forcing and working too hard to get that someone's love. It's not studies or career where you have to work so hard to get the results. The best things in life is free.

Forget about chasing someone just because they have the look you like. Or they give the impression of a marriage material. Or to be with someone just because you feel lonely.

Find someone you can laugh with and can make you to become a better person.

Life isn't about making yourself fit for that person.
It's your life.
It's you you're having a relationship with and is committed to.
Find someone who can bring out the best in you.
That's how you will feel complete.

9) Say "No"

Forgo going out with your friends on weekend's night sometines. Waste your time reading a book or watch your favourite shows. Time to live for yourself. Than to please others.

10) Write a blog.

You can make it private whatsoever. To keep track of your thoughts and what you've learnt throughout your life. It's a good place to spill. I have another place where I keep all my hideous thoughts. You don't need comments or approval on your thoughts written. You write it for yourself. You can go back to the blog and see how you've changed over the time.

11) Talk Less

This final one is magic especially if you're a person who tends to talk alot or dominate a conversation. I have practised this spiritual act for months. And I found so much inner peace and focus. By not needing to seek other people's approval, to ask what other people think and to listen to that voice inside of me without the interference of others.

We don't need other people's opinions. They do not have our eyes. Without the interference from others and giving explaination to others, we'll get our tasks done and get closer to our goal.

12) Stop the damn gossip

It's okay to gossip if you're one-on one with a person but be careful with your words. They spread like a deadly disease. People will misinterpret whatever you are saying.

More often the problems we have are other people's problems, not ours. So why bother discussing and fretting about it?

Try to avoid gossip in a group of people. It's a deadly act and will destroy you.

13)Share the responsibility in the house

Offer to subsidize for the groceries. Offer to help around the house without your parents asking.
Offer to get involve in your family's business. Offer to take them out for vacation or dinner. :)

14) Do not make enemies

If someone doesn't agree with you. Then stop the topic, don't bother to argue and move on to a lighter topic. If someone continues fighting on his/her point, just simply say "I see." then excuse yourself.

Do not promise what you are unsure of doing.

Do not deal business based on how good your relationship is with them.
But based on their credibility.

If someone has done wrong to you, don't bother seeking revenge.
Confucius said. "When you decided to seek revenge, prepare to dig two graves."

Don't bother giving them the guilt trip too.
Save the effort by giving someone else who is worth it.

15) Learn a new skill

Be it swimming. Dancing. Cooking. Trading stocks/forex/futures etc.
Learn a new language.
Learn how to dress up; find what suits you well.
Learn a new sport.
Study for a professional paper.

Improve your negotiating skills.
Try reading people and speaking their language.
Pick up other's body language.
Learn how to get your way through the way you talk.

16) Drop a bad habit

Smoking. Drinking. Procastinating. Excessive Spending. Being late. Being messy and unorganized. Stalking.

Call Me When You're Sober

I felt your head weighing on my shoulder;
You said words; fierce words that only showed your pain,
I was addicted.

I took a pen and started drawing clouds,
I took your hand and see no faults,
That rhythm of my heartbeart is what you've caught

One moment when I woke up,
I can feel not only one hand,
Few hands that hold my throat;
I can't breathe and soon enough;
I was addicted.

Soon you disappear;
With the drug you took away with you;
The cloud I drew grew heavy;
And soon; it poured down all my dreams;
I watched as it shatters on the ground

As I lay here, soaking wet
Couldn't differentiate between the rain and tears on my face;
Couldn't feel anymore hands on my throat;
I found peace

I laid my head on your strong chest;
And hear no heartbeat;
There, I found peace...
You never needed me;
And I kept coming back to you;
Because all you have is all I ever need;
Peace, serenity, passion

I feel light-weighted;
You took a pen and started drawing clouds;
I smiled as how these clouds never seem to stop forming
I smiled not because I was laughing at your dreams
I smiled because you took my hand
Encouraged me to pick up the pen again

You laughed at my bubbles;
I poked fun at your giggling clouds..

They don't understand
That is this real.

Additional Costs for Property Purchase

For all property buyers or future ones. ;)

How to calculate Legal fees and Stamp duty when buying property in Malaysia?

1) Stamp Duty == 1% – 3% (By Buyer)
2) Lawyer/Legal Fees == 0.4% – 1% (By Buyer)
3) Other Fees == RM180 (By Buyer)
4) Real Estate Agent’s Fees == 2% – 2.75% (By Seller)

Explanation as follow:

1) Stamp Duty (Value Of Property in RM — Rate)
First 100,000 — 1%
Next 400,000 — 2%
Next 1.5 million — 3%
Above 2.0 million – 4%

2) Lawyer/Solicitor’s Fee (Value Of Property in RM — Rate)
First 150,000 — 1% (subject to a minimum fee of RM300)
Next 850,000 — 0.7%
Next 2,000,000 — 0.6%
Next 2,000,000 — 0.5%
Next 2,500,000 — 0.4%

* where the consideration or adjudicated value is in excess of RM7,500,000 then it’s negotiable but shall not exceed 0.4% of such excess

3) Other Fees (RM)
Stamping Fee (per document) — RM10
Adjudication Fee — RM10
Title Search Fee — RM60
Registration Fee — RM100

4) Real Estate Agent’s Fee
Agent’s Fees are regulated by the Board of Valuers, Appraisers and Estate Agents Malaysia (LLPEH). Commission is paid either by buyer or seller, subject to a maximum discount of 30% but a minimum fee of RM1,000 per case. The scale is not applicable to sale of foreign properties in Malaysia.

Agent’s Fee (Value Of Property in RM — Rate)
First 500,000 — 2.75%
Remainder — 2%
Property Buying Procedure(Simplified):

The first step to purchasing property in Malaysia is to hire a real estate lawyer to assist in the transaction. Once property is selected, a Letter of Offer/Acceptance(also known as booking receipt) is signed, and a 3% deposit is expected from the buyer.

Within 14 days, the Sale and Purchase Agreement is signed. The buyer must pay another 7% deposit. From the date of the signing, the buyer has a maximum of three months to accomplish full payment. Sometimes, the buyer will be allowed one more month to pay the remaining amount, thus it will be 3+1. Penalty of around 7-8% interest per annum of the property value will be imposed for late payment.

The Sale and Purchase Agreement must be stamped at the Stamp Office. After the examination on the property of the valuation department, Stamp Duty is paid to the Stamp Office. The transfer must be registered at the Land Office Registry.

Be cautious when buying new property in unfinished condominium projects. Buyers may not be fully protected against default, an issue vigorously raised by the Malaysian House Buyers’ Association, which has pointed to flaws in The Housing Development (Control & Licensing) Act 2002, and the Strata Titles Act. Those buying unfinished property from developers should ensure that the developer has a valid Developer’s License and a valid Sales & Advertising permit.

Caption

See the caption of my blog?

"You Can Kill A Person, But Not An Idea."

There is one hater who responded to the caption of my blog with

"No, I don't plan to kill you, I plan to give you a high blood pressure then heart attack"

Seriously? Are you that shallow?

Even an average person can interpret or understand what it means.

The way you commented just showed how low you are.

It means that even when a person is dead, even when you dislike/disagree the idea presented;

The idea will come back to you some point of your life.

My main purpose of writing this blog is to share ideas, to enlighten, to inspire and to inform.

Most of the stuff I posted here are written by myself. (unless stated so)

Which I analysed, edit and edit again.

You are the reason why I believe in condoms.

The Fall 2

As mentioned before, the fall does not mean you're weak or not worthy. The fall simply means; life is slapping in you in the face, to wake you up from your clouds while whispering; " Hey there's something I want you to learn"

Pain.
There are many ways people deal with it.

I was once at the a beautician's house.
She told me that she was going to wipe acid on my face for killing bacteria purpose.
My aunt who came told me that it would hurt really bad.

So the first type of acid was being wiped.
They asked, "Are you ok?"
I gave a thumb-up.

The second type was being wiped.
"Are you okay?"

So the beautician continued the extraction process.
My aunt constantly asked me if I was okay.
I did not answer.

Finally the beautician said,
"I think it hurts too much until she couldn't make a sound."

It was true.

Normally when people break unwanted news to you,
You happen to be so in shocked that you look expressionless;
Or people would thought you're calm.

Normally, when someone expects me to be fine after hurting me or telling me undesirable stuff;
I stayed silent.
They asked me if I'm okay.
I said "Yeah."

There's a rare occasion when someone can point out and said "Is there something wrong?" or "No, she isn't fine."
Amazing how people can look through you.
And even amazingly, the ones that look through you are the ones that wouldn't even hurt you in the first place.
If you have such people in your life, appreciate them.
Instead of dwelling how boring your life is without the ups and downs.
You'll never know when you're free of pain because someone's taking the bullets for you.

Referring back to the silly beautician story;
That's just physical pain.
The crazy pain we felt when we stayed up late & forgo our sleep/ suffer for exams;
That awful pain we felt while exercising;
Are just temporary.
Once it's over, we bounce back on our feet with joy; while anticipating the results.

"Going through extreme lengths do pay off
But it takes discipline"-Matt Damon

However, emotional damage just wouldn't feel the same.
