Problems with reading ESTP I know previously it's because somehow ESTP guys love to flirt so basically they aren't being their real self and ESTP girls tend to be very cautious around me. Once they sense no danger towards me, they will let down their guard. I was fortunate to have a 16 year old ESTP and it's best to observe someone raw. Because people change according to their experiences and the younger the person being observed, the better the interpretations.
Alright. Let me start with how to spot an ESTP:
With their physical characteristics:
1) Eyes. Usually small with small eyelids.
2) Thick eyebrows.
3) Sides of the nose is fleshy. Fleshy earlobes.
4) Heavy Chin.
I wish to show you some pictures of my ESTP friends but I figured out it's not so nice revealing people. Some types do not like to be revealed. This type is one of them.
On general evaluation, they are considered the alphas. They are usually on top. They are quick-witted, usually very good at calculations, adventerous, can be very charming and also very impulsive.
They are usually non-emotional or clingy and they valued friendship greatly. They can be made into good friends because usually they do not hold grudges. They have little patience for emotionally needy or fake people.
If they have the first impression of you being intimidating, they will tend to be very cautious or sometimes a snob in front of you. Once the barrier is broken, they can be great friends. It took three years for me to break a barrier with a female ESTP. She is extremely a good friend to me now. I had to show that I was vulnerable in order for her to let her guards down.
ESTP males tend to behave oddly in front of me. They think of females as females and they are extremely flirty. They have the tendency to flirt a lot. Think James Bond. He is an ESTP. Once being hurt, they will resort to becoming a player and not believing in love & relationships for a very long time.
The reason why I find it hard to read an ESTP because they build walls with people. They refused to tell you what they think or how they feel, because they do not want people to know. As alphas, they do not like outsiders or enemies to know their weaknesses. Another reason is that they change their mind so frequent. Their minds change from time to time. They are rarely consistent. Besides that, as Thinkers, sometimes they do not tell people their problems unless people can really help with it.
Their strengths usually lie in being charming, extremely good at making decisions based on cost-benefit analysis, adventerous, the leadership type and have a very sharp mind.
Their weaknesses lies in their love and relationships, their love for risks and also their big mouth. Adventure-seeking ESTPs will find it hard to stay in monogamous relationships. They will tend to jump from one relationship to another,seeking love or someone to really understand them. They tend to get distracted easily by attractive looking people. Or either that, they have to tendency to stick to a partner who will abuse them.
They also enjoy taking risks. It's part of their lives. You can expect extreme slopes living with an ESTP. With the highs and lows. They enjoy businesses and they dare to think and dream big. Because of their intelligence which is above the average, they tend to get ahead faster and better than others.
However, their weakness which is being too overconfident without being hands-on on a certain project and taking too much risks plus high leverage which will lead them to failures. Relationships will also tend to screw their careers. For example, Tiger Woods whom was reported to be a sex addict and cheating on his wife had lost few contracts. Donald Trump was married for three times. Although he was a real estate mogul, he was highly in debt.
Immature ESTPs will get into trouble by talking too much or being overconfident. Donald Trump got slammed by Obama recently. Donald Trump was saying that Obama was not fit to be a president and indirectly hinted that people should vote for Trump to be President. While Donald was busy questioning about Obama's birth certificate and all, Obama has already planned to kill the world's most wanted so-called criminal; Osama.

Moral of the story; don't talk too much or pick fights with someone who is stronger and has more power than you although you may seem intelligent and capable. Never underestimate your opponent too.
The kind of mates ESTP are attracted to are usually ; ISFJ, ISTJ and INFP.
ESTP guys like demure girls but not too clingy. Whatever is it, one of the most important factor is good looking and straightforwardness.
ESTP females may prefer smarter guys but because they are smarter than average girls and guys, finding a match may be really tough.
Deep inside the ESTP:
- More often anot, despite their high intelligence, they are always confused about their existence.
- They want to enjoy life, jumping from one relationship to another, changing careers, travel place to place. They are always looking for something new, hoping to find that special something, or a feeling.
- Around the people they respect, they tend to be more quiet. They have low patience for stupid, clingy people and stoners.
- They are very good with directions.
- Although they are Perceivers, they tend to be very neat.
- Their ideal partner is someone stable, a follower, someone who listens to them when they rant and able to make decisions without being too excited about possibilities or spoilt by choices. Someone open to their ideas of fun.
- Partners of ESTP can expect alot of adventure and fun in the relationship. ESTPs are also very generous in buying gifts for their mates.
- ESTPs are very brand conscious. They enjoy luxury goods especially clothings or gadgets.
How to communicate with an ESTP:
- Listen to them. Laugh at their jokes.
- Respect them.
- Join them for fun. They are very spontaneous.
- Don't be too serious or too blur.
- Be honest and sincere. They can spot fakeness and shoot you down with it.
